Affiliate disclosure
My Tool .blog earns money from some of the links on this site. This page explains exactly how, in line with the United States Federal Trade Commission guidance on endorsements (16 CFR Part 255).
What an affiliate link is
When you click certain links to a vendor and then buy, subscribe or sign up, the vendor pays us a commission. You pay the same price either way. Affiliate links on this site are routed through our own /go/ addresses so that you can recognise them, and they carry rel="sponsored" for search engines.
Networks we work with
Depending on the vendor, commissions are paid through affiliate networks such as Impact, PartnerStack, ShareASale, CJ, Awin, Sovrn Commerce and Skimlinks, or directly by the vendor. We do not use automatic link monetisation on this site.
What commission does not do
- It does not decide which products we cover.
- It does not change a score, a rank, a verdict or a round.
- It does not remove criticism. Negative points stay in a page whether or not the vendor pays us.
- Products with no affiliate programme are covered on the same terms and linked directly to the vendor with no commission.
What we do not do
We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or placements. We do not publish sponsored content presented as editorial. We do not invent personal testing we did not perform; where a page is based on documentation and user reports rather than first-hand use, the page says so.
