Hello. My Tool .blog is a small independent site published by My Tool LLC. Here is who we are, how we work, and how we pay the bills.
My Tool is one person’s working notebook on software for independent work. Reviews are written from actual use on paid or free plans, and each one says which plan, for how long.
If a tool was cancelled, the review says why. If a tool is still on the desk a year later, that counts for more than any feature list.
Some links pay a commission; the opinion was formed first and the link added afterwards. A tool is never kept on the desk for the commission.
Who writes here
Content is written and edited by the My Tool .blog editors. Where a page has a named author, that person is a real individual who is responsible for the piece. We do not publish under invented personas.
How we work
- Primary sources first. Vendor documentation, published pricing and changelogs, verified user reports. Marketing copy is not evidence.
- Published method. Our scoring and selection rules are on the editorial policy page, and they are applied before any commercial consideration.
- Dated claims. Prices and features change; our pages carry the date they were last checked.
- Corrections. If we got something wrong, email hello@mytool.blog. Material corrections are noted on the page.
